| Knowledge | My name is Rosanna Vargas. I was born in Dominican Republic until the age of six years old. I was brought here by my mom when she decided to bring me to New York city. I have a very large family. I have twelve aunts and seven uncles on my moms side of the family, on my dad they are only three. I lived with my dad since the age of two years old and I returned to live with my mom at the age of six and drastically everything changed. Moving here was not easy I had to accustom to change of language, temperature, school, etc. I learned English quickly and rapidly accepted my new living life style. I lived in Brooklyn for about four years and then moved to Queens and I've been living there ever since I was nine years old and now I'm twenty-one. I finished high school at the age of seventeen and took some time of from school and decided to come back last year. That is why I'm here at Interboro Institute. I actually enrolled last September and have kept my commitment of continuing school non-stop. My major is Medical Assistant and I'll be done in December afterwards I'm planning to transfer to a four year school and continue studying in the same field. I want to focus in being a Physical Therapist. |
